Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has taken a significant step in enhancing the travel experience for its passengers by partnering with Boeing to upgrade the interiors of its aircraft. The agreement, signed on the sidelines of the 8th edition of the Marrakech International Air Show, aims to improve the airline's services and offerings. According to Nawel Ait Hamou, Managing Director of Royal Air Maroc's Operations Division, the partnership is part of the airline's efforts to modernize its fleet and enhance the passenger experience.

The agreement with Boeing focuses on upgrading the interiors of several Boeing aircraft acquired by RAM between 2014 and 2016. This move is part of a broader strategy to modernize the airline's fleet and improve the services offered to passengers. The partnership also aligns with the airline's goal of increasing its fleet size to 200 aircraft by 2037, as outlined in a contract-program signed with the government.

Royal Air Maroc's fleet has grown significantly, with 71 aircraft as of October 2026, and a target of 74 aircraft by the end of 2026 and 88 aircraft by 2027. The airline is also investing in digital transformation, with plans to equip 41 aircraft with high-speed internet services through SpaceX's Starlink system, starting in 2027. This move is expected to position RAM as a leader in Africa in terms of in-flight internet connectivity.
