According to Bakare, this will enable Rotarians to effectively communicate their humanitarian mission.
District 9112 Governor, Rotarian Layi Abidoye, described the seminar as an important platform for shaping Rotary's identity and public perception. He noted that the seminar is not just about logos or slogans but about equipping Rotarians with the right tools to tell their story with clarity, credibility, and impact. A strong Rotary image strengthens service projects and inspires greater trust from the public.
The seminar will feature presentations by notable speakers, including the Chief Executive Officer of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Lekan Fadolapo; Founder and Chief Consultant of TPT International PR Limited, Akogun Tokunbo Modupe; and the Managing Director of Brand Stewards Limited, Rotarian Ademola Akinbola. They will deliver presentations on the theme, "Beyond Visibility: Building a Public Image That Endures and Creates a Lasting Impact."
Chairman of the District 9111 Public Image Committee, Rotarian Olalekan Otun, highlighted that the seminar will provide a platform for Rotarians and media practitioners to learn from industry experts. District 9112 Public Image Committee Chairman and Past Assistant Governor, Chinedu Ebo, expressed confidence that the seminar will be a transformative experience for participants. Goodwill messages will be delivered by prominent Rotary leaders, including Rotary International President, Rotarian Yinka Babalola; Rotary Foundation Trustee, Rotarian Ijeoma Pearl Okoro; and Rotary Public Image Coordinator in Africa and Past Assistant Governor, Rotarian Ibim Semenitari. Other notable figures from the media and communications industry will also attend the seminar, including the Chairman of the Lagos State Public Relations Council and District 9111 Governor-elect, Dr. Sam Ayetutu.
