The 5th edition of the ECSEL Expo 2026, a leading trade show for e-commerce and digital services, is set to take place in Algeria from October 7 to 10. The event is expected to bring together over 260 exhibitors, including institutions, startups, technology players, service providers, and professionals in the fields of e-commerce, digital services, and digital transformation. The expo will cover an area of approximately 12,000 square meters.

The event has witnessed significant growth since its first edition, which saw 64 exhibitors participate. This year's edition is expected to be the largest yet, with a diverse range of exhibitors, including startups and established companies. The expo aims to showcase the latest developments in e-commerce, digital services, and digital transformation, and provide a platform for networking and business opportunities.

The ECSEL Expo 2026 is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and Startups, the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Control, and the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education. The event's program includes conferences and workshops on various topics related to e-commerce, digital services, logistics, and innovation.

According to Shams Eddine Hebeboub, the organizer of the expo, the event has become a key platform for startups and companies to showcase their services and discuss market trends, particularly in the area of digital sovereignty in Algeria. The expo also aims to raise awareness among young entrepreneurs about the importance of digital transformation and its impact on the future of the digital economy.

The event will feature a range of activities, including conferences, workshops, and networking sessions. Algeria Ventures, a startup accelerator, will participate in the expo and host two sessions on open innovation and startup development. The company will also showcase the innovative projects of some of the startups it supports.

Aminah Bacha, head of communication and marketing at Algeria Ventures, emphasized the importance of the ECSEL Expo in promoting Algeria's digital economy and providing opportunities for startups to connect with partners and access new markets. She also highlighted the potential of the expo to showcase Algeria's capabilities and opportunities in the field of e-commerce and innovation.

The 5th edition of the ECSEL Expo 2026 will also see the launch of the "ECSEL card," which will be offered to visitors and professionals in the sector, providing them with six months of access to offers and benefits from exhibitors and partners. The card aims to encourage networking and business opportunities during and after the expo.
