Orange Burkina Faso has unveiled Méga Zen, a new mobile internet offer designed to help subscribers better manage their internet budgets. The offer was presented at a press conference in Ouagadougou on October 22, 2026. Méga Zen is accessible exclusively through the new version of the Max it 2.0 application. This new offer provides subscribers with a daily data volume for 3, 7, or 30 days, with various packages tailored to different budgets.
According to Aïssata Barro, Brand Manager at Orange Burkina Faso, Méga Zen is part of the company's effort to provide services that simplify customers' daily lives. The new offer allows subscribers to choose a daily data volume based on their budget and needs. With Méga Zen, subscribers can opt for a 3-day package starting at 500 FCFA for 200 Mo per day, a 7-day package starting at 1,000 FCFA for 200 Mo per day, or a 30-day package for 15,000 FCFA.
The Méga Zen offer is based on a simple principle: subscribers pay once and receive their daily data volume for the chosen duration. For instance, a subscriber who opts for the 3-day package at 500 FCFA receives 200 Mo per day for three days, totaling 600 Mo. Other options include 500 Mo per day for 1,025 FCFA or 1,000 Mo per day for 1,750 FCFA, valid for three days.
Subscribers can choose from various packages, including 200 Mo per day for 1,000 FCFA, 500 Mo per day for 2,000 FCFA, or 1,000 Mo per day for 3,600 FCFA, all valid for seven days. For a 30-day package, Orange offers 1,500 Mo daily, with 1,000 Mo usable on the internet and 500 Mo reserved for Facebook and TikTok. This allocation is based on consumer habits, with these two platforms being among the most used.
One of the unique features of Méga Zen is that unused data from one day can be carried over to the next. If a subscriber receives 1,000 Mo and only uses 800 Mo, they will have 200 Mo remaining, which will be added to the next day's allocation. At the end of the validity period, subscribers have ten days to use up any accumulated but unused data.
According to Ousmane Djim, Mobile Internet Manager at Orange Burkina Faso, the goal of Méga Zen is to give consumers more control over their spending. The offer aims to make internet access more accessible and flexible, given the growing importance of digital activities in daily life.
Méga Zen can be accessed exclusively through the new version of the Max it application. Subscribers need to open the app, go to the internet pass purchase section, and select the "Pass Mega Zen" tab to view available packages, tariffs, and validity periods. Users with the old version of Max it need to download version 2.0 to access the new offer.
