Hajia 'Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, recently held a reception for Anifat Abiodun Bello, a retired deputy superintendent of traffic. Sowunmi-Kolapo assured workers in Ogun State of rewarding welfare packages once the government of Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP governorship candidate, comes on board in 2027. She promised that hard work will pay and civil servants will always smile home. The deputy governorship candidate declared that the suffering of workers in Ogun State for the past eight years will be a thing of the past under the Adebutu administration.
Other dignitaries at the reception ceremony, including Yeye Adenike Adebutu, the wife of the Ogun governorship candidate, and Dr Abayomi Tella, the Ogun PDP Chairman, paid glowing tributes to Bello's diligent service. Yeye Adenike Adebutu, while showering more encomiums on Bello, announced another N500,000 cash support for her. She said Bello will be part of the Adebutu administration once he is voted into power in 2027.
