Swiss watchmaker Norqain has launched the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise, a new addition to its lineup of sporty timepieces. The watch boasts a 41mm diameter case, 11.95mm thickness, and 48.7mm length between the horns. It features a unique blend of materials, including Norteq carbon composite, X-Lite composite, titanium, and aluminum. This combination allows the watch to weigh just 45 grams, including the strap, while maintaining a high level of durability.

The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise is designed to withstand the rigors of sports activities, such as golf, where sudden accelerations can put the movement under significant stress. The watch's case is crafted to provide a high level of protection, with a resistance to shocks of over 5,000 G. The timepiece also features a sapphire crystal on both sides, allowing for a clear view of the movement from the back. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and has a screwed crown.

One of the standout features of the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise is its skeletonized dial, which provides an unobstructed view of the movement. The watch's architecture is characterized by open bridges, gears, and hollowed-out sections, giving it a distinct visual identity. The watch also features a inclined bezel with peripheral hour markers and a ring that structures the time display. The skeletonized hands and applied indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova turquoise, enhancing visibility in low light conditions.

At the heart of the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise beats the Norqain 4K Manufacture NBK26/1 caliber, developed in collaboration with Swiss specialist AMT. This automatic movement features a fully skeletonized architecture, designed not only for aesthetic purposes but also to support the stresses associated with sports activities. The movement's bridges and rotor are inspired by mountainous landscapes, a nod to Norqain's identity.

The Norqain 4K Manufacture NBK26/1 caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, or 4 Hz, which is a proven compromise between regularity of operation and energy consumption. The watch has a 65-hour power reserve, allowing it to run for over two and a half days without needing to be rewound, provided the mainspring is fully wound. The watch also features a bidirectional automatic winding system, with a rotor that recharges the mainspring in both directions.

The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise is a limited edition of 300 pieces, with two references available: N3003.26X02.B07.R01 for the rubber strap model and N3003.26X02.B07.F01 for the extensible strap model. Both versions are priced at 10,650 euros. The watch is aimed at collectors of contemporary mechanical watches seeking a sporty timepiece with a strong visual identity.

The Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite Turquoise is a significant addition to Norqain's lineup, showcasing the brand's expertise in creating innovative, sporty watches with skeletonized movements. With its unique blend of materials, cutting-edge design, and robust construction, this watch is poised to appeal to enthusiasts of mechanical horology.
