He encouraged NHIS members with inactive memberships to reactivate them by dialing *929# and update their contact details at the nearest NHIA office for improved communication and service delivery. The NHIA CEO's visit also highlighted the need for staff to remain responsive, solution-oriented, and committed to treating NHIS members with dignity and empathy. The Dormaa West Member of Parliament, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, commended Dr. Bampoe for his contribution to the construction of the new NHIA office. He appealed to the NHIA to replace the district's vehicle, which is over 10 years old, to improve operations and service delivery in the area. Mr. Oppong Asamoah also requested the establishment of a claims centre in the Bono Region.
The proposed claims centre in the Bono Region aims to reduce the burden on healthcare providers who currently travel to the Ashanti Region to process claims. Mr. Oppong Asamoah believes this would make claims processing more accessible and convenient for healthcare providers in the region.
