The education sector in Mustaghanem has seen considerable developments, with 7 new school complexes being added to the educational infrastructure. Two of these complexes were established in the municipalities of Stidia and Mazarana, while the remaining 5 resulted from the conversion of existing educational sections into comprehensive school complexes. Furthermore, two new secondary schools, Errazi by Khair Eddine and Liamine Zerroual by Tawahiriya, have been constructed.
The new school year also brings improvements in educational resources and facilities. The province of Mustaghanem has successfully recruited 2,415 new teachers across various educational stages through a competitive examination. Additionally, 7 sports fields for middle schools and 32 new sports fields for primary schools, each equipped with sports equipment, are being introduced.
In an effort to enhance the learning experience, the local authorities have ensured that all students will have access to hot meals, with 100% coverage across all educational institutions. Moreover, textbooks have been distributed to all schools, and arrangements have been made with 32 local bookstores to provide students with necessary educational materials.
Prior to the start of the new school year, extensive renovation and cleaning campaigns were undertaken across various educational institutions. These efforts included repairs, painting, and the removal of weeds, as well as the renewal of equipment and the replacement of damaged furniture.
The Director of Education emphasized that these developments aim to alleviate the pressure on students and enhance their educational experience. Further infrastructure projects are expected to be completed by December, including the construction of a middle school in Aachacha and a secondary school in Hassi Mamash.
