The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has reaffirmed its dedication to delivering high-quality services to stakeholders in the Niger Delta region. During a Customer Service Week celebration in Port Harcourt, NDDC's Executive Director of Corporate Services, Ifedayo Abegunde, emphasized the commission's commitment to responsive and people-oriented development. Kikelomo Aina, NDDC Deputy Director of SERVICOM for the Abuja Liaison Office, advised staff to demonstrate empathy towards vulnerable customers, stressing the importance of assisting those in need. Aina encouraged staff to be available for service delivery, even when not on duty, and to go the extra mile to satisfy customers. She noted that this willingness to help others is desirable and satisfying, although it remains a personal choice.
Pastor Benson Eghaire, the programme's consultant, emphasized the need for teamwork and collaboration to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. Eghaire encouraged staff to work as a unit, persevere, and remain committed to their duties. He noted that determination and resilience are essential for success in discharging their responsibilities.
