NBA Africa, in partnership with Act4Community by OCP and EVOSPORT, has launched the second season of its Jr. NBA/WNBA and NBA Basketball School programs in Morocco. The initiative aims to promote grassroots basketball and develop young talent in the country. The program will run from September 2026 to May 2027 and involve 2,000 girls and boys across six cities, including El Jadida, Benguerir, Youssoufia, Khouribga, Laayoune, and Safi.

The program's second season builds on the success of its first edition, which reached over 2,000 girls and boys and concluded with national finals at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat. The initiative includes five Jr. NBA/WNBA leagues, five NBA Basketball Schools, basketball camps and clinics, urban tournaments, coach development programs, and regional and national finals. This comprehensive approach aims to provide young participants with a well-rounded basketball experience.

In Khouribga, one of the participating cities, young participants are taking part in basketball training and development activities that combine competition with skill development, teamwork, and leadership. Certified coaches, trained and certified based on NBA standards, are leading the sessions. The program also aims to strengthen local coaching capacity, with over 70 coaches having received training and certification.

The Jr. NBA/WNBA and NBA Basketball School programs are designed to promote basketball development and provide opportunities for young players to improve their skills. The programs cater to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that all participants have a positive and engaging experience.
