The 4th National Products Exhibition is set to open in Khartoum, Sudan, under the theme "Voluntary Return to Rebuild Khartoum." The event, sponsored by Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza, is organized by the Ministry of Industry and features participation from Industry Minister Mahasen Ali Yaqub. The exhibition aims to promote national products and provide citizens with an opportunity to purchase them at producer prices.
According to Hassan Abbas Mohamed Ahmed, Director of Exhibitions at the Sudanese Company for Markets and Exhibitions, all arrangements for the exhibition's opening have been finalized. This year's event is part of efforts to revive exhibition activities in Khartoum. The company had relocated to the Red Sea state due to war-related circumstances but resumed its activities in Khartoum in February with the 16th "Made in Sudan" exhibition.
The National Products Exhibition will feature a diverse range of Sudanese products, including industrial, agricultural, and handicraft goods, as well as local productive activities. The event provides citizens with a chance to shop and buy national products at affordable prices, helping to alleviate living expenses. Around 60 companies from various production and industrial sectors will participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition will run from October 7 to 14, with the official opening ceremony scheduled for 6:00 PM on October 7. The event will be open to the public daily from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, except on Fridays when it will start after Friday prayers. The exhibition will also feature accompanying programs during its duration.
According to the Director of Exhibitions, the event's hosting in Khartoum reflects positive indicators of improved conditions in the city and a voluntary return to economic and productive activities. The exhibition is expected to contribute to the city's economic recovery and promote national products.
The Sudanese Company for Markets and Exhibitions had previously organized a successful "Made in Sudan" exhibition in February, followed by an infrastructure exhibition. These events have helped revive exhibition activities in Khartoum and promote local products.
The National Products Exhibition is seen as a significant step towards supporting local industries and promoting economic growth in Sudan. With a wide range of products on display, the event is expected to attract a large number of visitors and provide a platform for Sudanese companies to showcase their products.
