Mozambican energy services company ROSCONSULT, LDA, has described African Energy Week (AEW) 2026 as a remarkable platform that opened new doors for strategic partnerships and business expansion. The company participated in the October 12-16 gathering in Cape Town, South Africa, with support from the ENH-Linkar Programme and African Energy Week. ROSCONSULT's Managing Director Inácio Guambe and Service and Operations Manager Mauro Mazuze represented the company at the event.

ROSCONSULT reported a productive week of business meetings, industry discussions, and networking engagements with potential clients, investors, and strategic partners. The company's representatives participated in discussions on emerging energy opportunities and attended strategic industry panels. They also held meetings aimed at expanding ROSCONSULT's footprint in Mozambique and beyond. AEW 2026 provided ROSCONSULT with direct access to decision-makers and potential partners whose expertise, technology, and investment could support its long-term growth.

One of the highlights of ROSCONSULT's participation was an engagement with Geoex MCG, a London-based international geophysical contractor. The discussions reviewed their cooperation and explored developments surrounding a multi-client 3D seismic acquisition project in Area A5, North Angoche, an offshore area considered to have significant hydrocarbon potential. ROSCONSULT also had promising discussions with Angola's Copia Group of Companies, SA, on potential collaborations in energy projects, mining, construction, inspection, and supervision.

ROSCONSULT used the Cape Town gathering to reinforce its relationship with Mozambique's national oil company, Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos (ENH). Managing Director Inácio Guambe met with ENH Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rudêncio Morais, focusing on local content development and strengthening the capacity of Mozambican businesses. ENH reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local enterprises and creating opportunities for companies capable of contributing meaningfully to Mozambique's energy industry.

The ENH-Linkar initiative has become an important platform for connecting Mozambican SMEs with international industry players. It helps participating businesses develop relationships and pursue opportunities in the country's expanding energy sector. ROSCONSULT's participation alongside other Mozambican SMEs highlighted the potential of coordinated local content initiatives to help domestic enterprises establish a stronger presence in the energy industry.

ROSCONSULT's representatives also interacted with prominent figures in Africa's energy industry, including African Energy Chamber Executive Chairman NJ Ayuk. The meeting offered an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the industry's direction and the challenges confronting emerging African businesses. Guambe and Mazuze engaged fellow entrepreneurs, industry executives, and members of the media during the week-long gathering.

As Vice-President for the Extractive Industry at the Mozambique SME Association (APME), Guambe used the AEW 2026 platform to advocate for stronger cooperation between Mozambican SMEs and international investors, contractors, and service providers. His engagements focused on attracting potential partners, expanding business networks, and encouraging greater inclusion of local companies across the energy sector's supply chain.
