Moov Africa, a telecommunications operator in Burkina Faso, has launched a new campaign called "Moov ta rentrée, ça c’est calé" to support the education sector in the country. The campaign, which was officially launched on September 28, 2026, in Ouagadougou, aims to provide affordable tariffs and services to students, while promoting digital inclusion and responsibility. The initiative is part of Moov Africa's commitment to the youth and education sector in Burkina Faso.

According to Mamadou Idogo, head of marketing, communication, product, and digital at Moov Africa, the campaign goes beyond commercial aspects, with the primary objective of putting digital and high-speed connectivity at the service of families, students, and pupils to promote academic success. The campaign is designed to provide a simple, generous, and proximity-based approach to meeting the needs of customers and market realities.

To address the financial constraints of the back-to-school season, Moov Africa is offering a range of preferential tariffs and value-added services. The operator has introduced new mixed mobile offers, facilitated access to high-speed internet via fiber optics, and exclusive benefits on transactions via Moov Money. These offers include a 1000-mega internet connection and 15 minutes of calls for 500 francs, as well as discounts on school payments via the Moov Money application.

In addition to commercial offers, Moov Africa is also focusing on the social dimension of the campaign. Ibrahima Badiel, head of communication at Moov Africa Burkina, announced that several high-impact social actions will take place throughout the school year. These include promoting responsible digital usage, supporting educational institutions, and providing material and logistical support to colleges and high schools to improve learning conditions.

Moov Africa is also committed to providing digital solutions for education, including free subscriptions for parents and discounts on school supplies. The operator offers value-added services, such as digital books and online school programs, at affordable prices. Furthermore, Moov Africa will provide scholarships to deserving students to reward and financially support their academic perseverance and access to higher education.

The "Moov ta rentrée, ça c’est calé" campaign is part of Moov Africa's positioning as a major player in the Burkinabé telecommunications sector. The operator aims to provide competitive packages coupled with sustainable citizen investment. According to Issouf Konaté, head of product communication, the campaign offers tailored solutions to alleviate the stress of school supplies and tuition fees.

Through this campaign, Moov Africa reaffirms its commitment to the youth and education sector in Burkina Faso. The operator's initiatives aim to promote digital inclusion, responsibility, and academic success, while supporting the country's educational institutions and students.
