Mitsubishi Motors has made a comeback in the Moroccan vehicle market with the launch of its new Outlander Sport. The launch, dubbed "THE RETURN", marks the brand's re-entry into the passenger vehicle segment. Diamond Motors, a subsidiary of Groupe Auto Hall, announced the launch of the new Outlander Sport. This move aims to reconnect Mitsubishi Motors with the local market and reinstall the brand in the passenger vehicle universe.

According to Yassine Benmassi, General Director of Diamond Motors, the launch of the Outlander Sport is a significant step for both Diamond Motors and Mitsubishi Motors in Morocco. It marks the brand's return to the passenger vehicle market and opens a new phase of development. The goal is to establish Mitsubishi Motors as a key player in the Moroccan automotive landscape, leveraging the expertise of Diamond Motors and the solidity of Groupe Auto Hall.

The new Outlander Sport features a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 105 horsepower, paired with a CVT automatic gearbox and 4x2 traction. The vehicle is offered in three trim levels, each with increasing equipment levels. The base M LINE trim is priced at 219,000 Moroccan Dirham (MAD) promotional price, with a public price of 229,000 MAD. The mid-range H LINE trim offers additional comfort features at a promotional price of 229,000 MAD and a public price of 239,000 MAD.

The top-of-the-line P LINE trim is the most comprehensive, priced at 269,000 MAD promotional price and 279,000 MAD public price. With these three trims, Mitsubishi Motors aims to cater to different customer expectations without offering multiple variants. The Outlander Sport maintains a common mechanical base, with the focus on comfort, connectivity, and assistance technologies as the trim levels increase.

Aziz El Bettahi, Marketing and Commercial Director of Diamond Motors, explained that the goal was to create a clear and competitive range that can respond to various customer profiles. The three trims allow for a natural progression in equipment levels while maintaining the model's identity. This launch aims to help Mitsubishi Motors reconnect with the Moroccan public and regain its position in the passenger vehicle market.

The comeback of Mitsubishi Motors in Morocco is seen as a strategic move to tap into the growing demand for passenger vehicles in the country. With the Outlander Sport, the brand is looking to establish a strong foothold in the market and build a loyal customer base. The vehicle's features and pricing strategy are expected to appeal to a wide range of customers.

The launch of the Outlander Sport marks a significant milestone for Mitsubishi Motors in Morocco, and the brand is expected to continue to expand its offerings in the country.
