The Seggae Zwe festival is set to take over the Stade Anjalay in Belle-Vue on November 7, promising an unforgettable night of seggae music. This will be the third edition of the festival, which has grown in popularity since its inception in 2014. This year's event boasts an impressive lineup, including Natty Jah, The Prophecy, Tian Conrentin, OSB, Sayaa, Bilygane, and Natir Chamarel, among others. The festival gates will open at 19:00, with music playing until the early hours of the morning.

According to Bruno Raya of Live N Direk Entertainment, this edition of the festival is more ambitious than its predecessors. The event has outgrown its previous venues, moving to a larger stadium to accommodate the growing demand. Raya reminisced about the first edition in 2014, held at Roche-Bois, and the second edition in 2018 at Bois-Marchand, noting that the public and artists alike have been enthusiastic about the festival from its inception.

This year's festival features a diverse lineup of artists spanning three generations, showcasing the vitality of seggae music in Mauritius. The event will also include homages to legendary artists such as Berger Agathe, Kaya, and Baby. These tributes will serve as a reminder of the impact these artists have had on the music scene and their enduring legacies.

The festival has garnered significant interest from the public, with tickets priced at Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 for VIP access. Raya emphasized that the event is family-friendly, encouraging attendees to bring their children along. In light of recent events, the festival aims to promote unity, harmony, and peace through the power of music. Seggae, as a genre, is known for its messages of love and peace, making it an ideal platform for this celebration.

When asked about the status of the Festival Reggae Donn Sa, Raya explained that organizing the event is more complicated due to the involvement of international artists, which increases costs. Although there have been challenges surrounding the event's organization and authorization in the past, Raya hinted that plans for the Donn Sa festival are still underway.

Raya also touched on the recent concert-anniversary celebration of the OSB group at Pointe-aux-Sables, which was well-received without any noise complaints. The event's success has provided encouragement for future events at the venue, with plans to improve the site's infrastructure, including parking and public areas, already in progress.

Tickets for the Seggae Zwe festival are available for purchase on Otayo.com, Noubiye.com, and at City Sport stores. Those who buy tickets in advance will benefit from lower prices compared to those purchasing at the gate on the day of the event.
