The suspect, a resident of the Alakuko area of Lagos, was tracked down and arrested on Tuesday following petitions filed against him by several clerics. The arrest was confirmed by a police source, who provided details about the case.

According to the police source, the arrest followed a petition by a well-known Celestial Church pastor in the Ojokoro area, who accused the suspect of making disparaging remarks against him and his religious beliefs. Another petition was also submitted against the suspect by a popular Islamic scholar in the Ogba area, who similarly accused the suspect of making odious remarks against his person and religious beliefs.
