The "Mali Kura" investment forum will take place on December 11-12, 2026, at the Bamako International Conference Center (CICB). The event, organized by the Malian Investment Promotion Agency (API-Mali), was announced during a launch ceremony presided over by Minister of Industry and Commerce, Moussa Alassane Diallo. The forum aims to connect Malian project leaders with international investors, facilitating partnerships and positioning Mali as a prime investment destination in West Africa.

The forum's primary objective is to showcase Mali as a preferred investment destination, accelerating its economic transformation and enhancing its image. According to API-Mali Director General, Ibrahim Ahamadou Touré, the goal is to change the narrative, aligning with the vision of "Mali Kura ɲɛtaasira ka bɛn san 2063". The two-day event expects to gather around 1,000 participants, including 400 international actors, such as investors, entrepreneurs, public and private institutions, and foreign delegations.

Seven countries have been invited as guests of honor: China, Turkey, India, Morocco, Russia, Burkina Faso, and Niger. The forum will feature high-level panels, targeted B2B and B2G meetings, and presentations of priority investment projects across four main themes: industrialization, investment opportunities, investment security, and financing productive investments. Key sectors to be highlighted include agriculture, agro-industry, mining, energy, infrastructure, technology, innovation, trade, and services.

The forum offers three structured packages: Diamond, Gold, and Silver, each providing varying levels of institutional and digital visibility, exhibition stands, VIP invitations, and access to B2B and B2G meetings. A customized formula is also available, allowing companies to acquire sectoral exclusivity. Minister Diallo emphasized the importance of collective mobilization, stressing that the forum is being built "for and with Malian economic operators".

The event is under the patronage of Transitional President, General Assimi Goïta. Registrations are exclusively online, and several high-ranking officials attended the launch ceremony. The API-Mali team, led by Director General Ibrahim Ahamadou Touré, has been working tirelessly to prepare for the event, ensuring its success.

The "Mali Kura" forum seeks to create a platform for Malian project leaders to engage with international investors, promoting sustainable partnerships and economic growth. With a focus on industrialization, investment security, and financing, the event aims to reposition Mali as a prime destination for investors in West Africa.

As the event approaches, stakeholders are optimistic about the potential outcomes. The forum is expected to yield significant results, including partnerships, investments, and job creation, ultimately contributing to Mali's economic development and growth.
