The Centre Soleil d'Afrique in Mali recently hosted a 3-day creative immersion workshop, "Immersion créative 72 heures," which brought together 15 artists from different disciplines, including visual arts, storytelling, theater, photography, and digital media. The event was attended by Amadou Diabaté, representative of the Ministry of Handicrafts, Culture, Hospitality, and Tourism, and Hama Goro, director of the Centre Soleil d'Afrique. The workshop was part of the "culturAct1" program, initiated by the Ministry of Handicrafts, Culture, Hospitality, and Tourism. According to Hama Goro, the concept of "Immersion créative 72 heures" is an artistic and cultural initiative that brings together young artists and cultural actors to experiment, create, and engage in dialogue on contemporary creation and issues related to social cohesion and intercultural dialogue. The 15 artists were selected from a pool of 40 beneficiaries to participate in the workshop under the guidance of established artists.

The participants worked together for 72 hours to create a collective artwork, which was unveiled during the closing ceremony.
