In the eastern regions, including the Gulf and the Benghazi plain to Ajdabiya, clouds will gather in most areas, with a chance of scattered showers and potentially good rain on Wednesday in the Green Mountain, accompanied by thundercells and a possibility of local flash flooding. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, blowing at a moderate speed, with maximum temperatures ranging from 23-28°C.
In the southern regions, including Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames, and Hamada, scattered showers are expected, which may be moderate to heavy, accompanied by thundercells, in Sabha, Al-Hruj, Smenou, Ghadwa, Marzouk, Waw Al-Kabir, Traghen, Zueila, Temseh, Al-Faqaha, Waw Al-Namous, and Al-Qatrun. From tonight, Ghat and surrounding areas are also expected to experience rain, leading to flash flooding and local stream runoff.
In the southeastern regions, including Al-Wahat, Al-Serir, Tazirbu, and Al-Kufra, clouds will gather occasionally, with scattered showers expected in Al-Serir, Tazirbu, southern Al-Kufra, and some border areas with Chad and Sudan, accompanied by thundercells. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, blowing at a moderate speed, with maximum temperatures ranging from 26-30°C, reaching 35°C in Al-Kufra today.
The National Meteorological Center has also provided a general future outlook for the weather, expecting rain, potentially heavy, accompanied by thundercells, in the extreme western regions bordering Algeria and Ghat on Thursday.
