The two sides then discussed the necessary executive procedures for the decision to take effect, enabling eligible Iraqi citizens to benefit from it and settle their residence status.
The meeting also touched on the upcoming Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting, scheduled to be held in Baghdad in the second half of October. The two sides discussed Libya's participation in the meeting and reviewed a previous invitation to Libyan Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour to attend, as part of enhancing coordination between the two countries in regional and international forums.
The talks also covered ways to follow up on several bilateral files, enhancing cooperation, and addressing obstacles facing citizens and diplomatic work.
