The Egyptian House of Representatives announced the results of elections for the committees on Sunday, 04 October 2026. The Labor Committee will be chaired by Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmed Saefan, and the Industry Committee will be led by Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Ahmed Shalaby.
The Small and Medium Enterprises Committee will be chaired by Mohamed Gamal Abdel-Qader El-Garhi, and the Energy and Environment Committee will be led by Tarek Ahmed Abdel-Qader El-Mal. The Agriculture and Water Resources Committee will be chaired by Sami Sobhi Aliwa Shahin, and the Education and Scientific Research Committee will be led by Ashraf Mohamed Abdel-Hamid El-Shikhi.
The Religious Affairs and Endowments Committee will be chaired by Amr Mustafa Hassanin El-Wardani, and the Social Solidarity and Family Committee will be led by Randa Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa. The Media, Culture, and Antiquities Committee will be chaired by Reham Farouk Ahmed Mohamed, and the Tourism and Civil Aviation Committee will be led by Sahar Talaat Mustafa Ibrahim.
The Health Committee will be chaired by Sharif Pasha Seif Bashay, and the Transport Committee will be led by Mohamed Abdel-Razek Mohamed El-Sayed Awad. The Communications and Information Technology Committee will be chaired by Ahmed Ragae Shahat Mohamed Badawi, and the Housing and Public Works Committee will be led by Ahmed Mohamed Saeed Mohamed Shalaby. The results of the elections mark an important step in the functioning of the Egyptian parliament.
