Imam Abdullahi Aliyu also highlighted the consequences of betraying trust, stating that those who uphold trust can be elevated, while betrayal carries serious consequences. He encouraged individuals to focus on good deeds, as they will accompany them to the grave. The prayer session was a significant event in Kaduna State's Independence anniversary celebrations.
Contractors in Kaduna State have commended Governor Uba Sani for introducing a monthly payment plan to settle verified debts inherited from the previous administration. The Chairman of the Contractors Association of Kaduna State, Ahmed Baba, expressed appreciation for the Governor's efforts to systematically clear outstanding payments owed to contractors. The monthly payment arrangement aims to reduce the financial burden on affected contractors.
Ahmed Baba noted that Governor Sani inherited substantial liabilities but demonstrated that government is a continuum by taking steps to settle outstanding payments. He praised the Governor's leadership, stating that the monthly payment structure is a lifeline to many contractors. The Contractors Association pledged its support for the administration's infrastructure development programme.

He mentioned that an inter-denominational church service would be held at Living Faith Church, Barnawa, on Sunday, with the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice representing the governor.
