Ivorian musician Anslo Ganslo, also known as Anselme Akplogan, has returned to Côte d'Ivoire after participating in the Festival international de guitare et d'art de la scène (FIGAS) in France. In an interview with Lavenir.ci, he shared his musical journey, from being a child passionate about music to his current ambitions. Ganslo's love for music was sparked by his father's vinyl records, which he listened to at home. This early exposure laid the foundation for his future career.

Ganslo's artistic career took shape during the first edition of the Marché des arts du spectacle d'Abidjan (MASA). He discovered the event through a press announcement and, without professional guidance, took the initiative to participate in the selection process. His talent earned him a spot at the event, where he performed at various venues, including the Stade de la Force, Place des Arts de Koumassi, Centre culturel d'Abobo, and Nandjelé à Cocody. This experience opened doors to new opportunities in the cultural and audiovisual universe.

Following his early success, Ganslo collaborated with his uncle on the development of Radio Jam and worked with René Williams and DC Productions. This period allowed him to contribute to the production of the series "Les Guignols" and create music clips for Ivorian and African artists. He also had the opportunity to meet prominent African musicians, including Oumou Sangaré, to whom he has extended an invitation to collaborate on his future projects.

Ganslo's career has taken him beyond Côte d'Ivoire, with his recent participation in FIGAS in France being a significant milestone. This experience aligns with his goal of sharing his unique musical style with a broader audience. The World Groove Zaouli Beat is a key part of this effort, a style he developed by combining traditional Ivorian cultural elements with contemporary sounds. This fusion is inspired by the Zaouli mask from his native region, Marahoué.

The World Groove Zaouli Beat represents Ganslo's attempt to merge his cultural heritage with modern music. He has released several singles, an album titled "World Groove," and two maxi singles, "Nkloho" and "I'am from Sinfra." Currently, he is working on "Kada Weman," a song promoting unity and coexistence. Through these projects, Ganslo aims to further his musical journey and increase the visibility of his distinctive style.

Ganslo's collaboration with other artists and producers has played a significant role in shaping his career. His work with René Williams and DC Productions, for instance, allowed him to explore various aspects of the music industry. These experiences have not only honed his skills but also broadened his understanding of the music world, enabling him to create a unique sound that blends traditional and contemporary elements.

As Ganslo continues to pursue his musical ambitions, he remains committed to showcasing the richness of Ivorian culture through his music. With a growing discography and an expanding fan base, he is poised to make a lasting impact on the African music scene. His dedication to his craft and his passion for sharing his cultural heritage with the world are testaments to his potential for success in the music industry.
