Alger, September 27, 2026 - inDrive, in collaboration with the WinNelka association, has launched an initiative to support children and families affected by recent forest fires in Algeria. The program involves distributing school supplies to students in the affected areas, to help them prepare for the new academic year. The initiative will benefit nearly 390 students from communes affected by the forest fires, providing them with complete school kits tailored to their level of study, from primary to high school. The kits will be distributed based on the needs and level of study of the students. The school kits will be distributed as follows: approximately 74 kits for students in the first and second years of primary school, 75 kits for third-year students, 68 kits for fourth- and fifth-year students, 83 kits for middle school students, and 90 kits for high school students. The initiative also includes packaging, quality control, logistics, and transportation of the kits to ensure they reach the concerned communities in the best conditions.
This mobilization coincides with the start of the new academic year, which began on September 21, 2026. The goal is to support the affected students as they resume their studies.
