The Inspectorate of Government has emphasized the importance of building character and responsible leadership alongside academic qualifications. Deputy Inspector General of Government Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe made the call during an interaction with students of St Mary’s College Kisubi. Muhairwe encouraged the students to strive for excellence and distinguish themselves through their character and competence.

Muhairwe stressed that academic qualifications alone are not enough to guarantee success. She encouraged the students to build meaningful relationships that could support them throughout their careers. The students, who are members of the school’s Integrity Club and editorial team of The Eagle magazine, visited the Inspectorate of Government to interview Muhairwe for an article in the school magazine.
