In a significant milestone, 27 Nigerians who purchased homes at Ibudo Wura, an affordable housing community along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, have received the keys to their homes. Developed by Mixta Africa, a leading real estate developer in West Africa, this handover brings the total number of completed homes at Ibudo Wura to 192. This achievement is part of Mixta Africa's extensive track record of delivering over 30,000 homes across Africa since its inception in 2005.

Mixta Africa has established itself as a major player in the African real estate sector, with a portfolio that spans Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, and Côte d'Ivoire. In Nigeria, the company has developed notable projects such as Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate and Beechwood Estate along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Fara Park in Sangotedo, Lagos, Expressview Estate in Lugbe, Abuja, and the Garden City Golf Annexe in Port Harcourt. The company's commitment lies in addressing Africa's housing deficit by creating large, sustainable, and well-serviced communities.

Tola Akinsulire, Group Chief Commercial Officer of Mixta Africa, highlighted the significance of the handover, emphasizing the company's over 20-year history of delivering homes across Africa. Akinsulire noted that handing over keys is a crucial moment in the company's relationship with customers, as it transforms their investment into a tangible asset. This process underscores the trust customers place in Mixta Africa when they decide to purchase a home.

The handover of keys to the 27 homeowners at Ibudo Wura represents the culmination of their journey from purchasing to taking possession of their homes. One of the homeowners, Soprinye Banjo, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the homes and the environment, stating that the development is of good quality for the price. She praised the engineers and facility managers for ensuring that her family would be in good hands.

Another homeowner, Yetunde Oyegunle, shared her positive experience with Mixta Africa and Ibudo Wura, having been introduced to the project by a friend. Oyegunle expressed her willingness to recommend Mixta Africa to anyone interested in owning a property, citing the reliability of the development.
