High Chief Waheed Muraina, the Agbaakin Bashorun of Yorubaland, has shared his remarkable life journey, from his childhood to becoming a successful land agent and businessman. Born on August 28, 1966, in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Muraina attended Magbon Etido Primary School and Ofada Community High School. He left school in Form Two to learn automobile mechanics at Kobape Mechanic Village in Ogun State in 1987.

He later ventured into farming, cultivating crops such as okra, ewedu, pepper, and Ofada rice from 1992 to 2000. Muraina advised her not to pay for the land, which had already been fraudulently sold to several people, and offered to help her get a hectare of land to build a factory.

He helped her acquire a genuine land, and she gave him the building contract, which enabled him to build his first house with 12 rooms. From then on, Muraina's reputation as a trustworthy land agent grew, and he became known for his honesty and dedication. Interestingly, the location where Muraina built his modern hall was the same place where he used to work as a labourer. His family had sold the land before he eventually bought it back.
