The Fondation Hystérésis recently concluded its "Conversations Inspirantes" program, a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering young people in Benin. Out of over 200 applicants, 46 young individuals were selected to participate in the program, which focused on self-discovery, personal development, and career growth. The program's closing ceremony was held on October 24, 2026, in Tori-Cada, Benin.

During the program, participants underwent several months of training and mentorship, working on self-awareness, identifying their skills, and valuing their experiences. They also learned to define their goals, overcome limiting beliefs, and create a personal brand. Additionally, they acquired skills in writing a personal biography, developing a professional profile, and utilizing LinkedIn. The program also provided participants with digital tools to support their personal and professional growth.

According to Candide Sêna Houngbédji, spokesperson for the program's beneficiaries, the experience had a profound impact on the participants. She stated that the program helped them gain a new perspective on their abilities, ambitions, and career prospects. The participants learned to recognize their strengths, resources, and past experiences, and to use these to inform their future decisions.

The program's impact extended beyond the individual participants, as they formed a network of peers who could support and learn from one another. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Fondation Hystérésis, its mentors, and partners for their guidance and support throughout the program. As a symbol of appreciation, they presented a puzzle portrait to Aurélie Adam Soulé Zoumarou, Honorary President of the Fondation Hystérésis.

Aurélie Adam Soulé Zoumarou reflected on the significance of the puzzle portrait, interpreting it as a representation of the collective strength and unity of the program's beneficiaries. She emphasized that the program aimed to empower young people to discover their potential, mobilize their resources, and make informed decisions about their futures. The Fondation Hystérésis was established in 2018 to address the challenges faced by young people in Benin.

The "Conversations Inspirantes" program is part of the Fondation Hystérésis' broader initiatives to support young people in Benin. The foundation's programs focus on empowering young people to develop their leadership skills, acquire digital and professional competencies, and make informed decisions about their futures. The program has already shown promising results, with participants reporting increased confidence and a clearer sense of direction.

The Chinese Ambassador to Benin, Zhang Wei, attended the closing ceremony and praised the program's achievements. He encouraged the beneficiaries to apply their new skills and knowledge to achieve concrete results and emphasized the importance of youth development in Benin's and China's policies. The Fondation Hystérésis will continue to support young people in Benin through its various initiatives.
