Feeders, a renowned architecture studio specializing in designing spaces for brand and product communication, has launched a new creative coworking space in Lisbon called Ephemeral. The studio invested €2.4 million in the project, which includes the acquisition of the property, design, construction, furniture, and decoration of the new facilities. Ephemeral is located in Telheiras and offers a unique concept that may be replicated in other locations in the future.
The Ephemeral coworking space spans 250 m² and features 80 m² of common areas, designed to accommodate 35 to 40 professionals initially, with a potential capacity of 50 people. The space is intended to bring together professionals and small businesses from areas complementary to Feeders, such as architecture, design, communication, technology, and event production. This setup aims to encourage collaboration and the development of new businesses.
According to Joaquim Silva, Partner & Co-Founder of Feeders, the Ephemeral project represents a new business venture for the company, with its own brand and operating model. Silva emphasizes that Feeders' growth has been largely due to its relationships with other companies and professionals, and Ephemeral is an extension of this experience. The goal is to create conditions for other projects to follow a similar path and reinforce the ecosystem of skills and partners that Feeders has built.
Feeders was founded in 2011 and has established itself as a leading architecture studio for events, brand experiences, trade fairs, and office design. The company has completed over 500 projects in Portugal and internationally, including in several European countries, Canada, and Saudi Arabia. In the previous year, Feeders reported a business volume of €5.89 million and currently employs 20 people.
The Ephemeral coworking space is designed to host 12 to 15 entities of varying sizes and areas of activity. Feeders has already identified potential locations and partners for a possible expansion of the network, although this decision will depend on the consolidation and results of the first space. Additionally, Ephemeral may lead to other projects that go beyond the traditional coworking model.
With Ephemeral, Feeders is diversifying its activity and strengthening its presence in the market. The company aims to create a community of professionals and small businesses that can collaborate and innovate together. The launch of Ephemeral marks a significant milestone for Feeders, as it expands its services and offerings to meet the evolving needs of its clients and partners.
