Eswatini's beach volleyball duo, Siphelelisiwe Nsibandze and Hlobisile Ndlovu, secured a bronze medal in the 2026 CAVB Zone VI Beach Volleyball Tour. The pair accumulated 504 points across the five-leg tour to claim the bronze position in the final women's standings. This achievement earned them approximately E5 115 in prize money. The tour featured beach volleyball pairs from across the Zone VI region, including Eswatini, Mozambique, Botswana, Angola, Namibia, Lesotho, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.
The fifth edition of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) Zone VI Beach Volleyball Tour started in February and concluded with the fifth and final leg in Maputo City, Mozambique, from March 25 to 27. The tour provided a platform for teams to compete and earn points based on their performance in each leg. The final standings were determined by the total points accumulated by each team throughout the tour.
In the women's competition, Nsibandze and Ndlovu finished behind Mozambique's Nadia and Veronica, who won the women's standings with 840 points. Lesotho's Tolofi and Chapole were second on 816 points. The Eswatini pair finished level on 504 points with Zambia's Beene and Matildah but were placed third in the official final standings due to a tiebreaker.
Another Eswatini women's pair, Zitha and Tsabedze, finished 19th overall on 192 points. In the men's competition, Mlamuli Simelane and Sanele Mndzebele were Eswatini's highest-ranked pair, finishing 10th overall on 324 points. They received approximately E1 705 in prize money. Nkosingiphile Dube and Mhlanganisi Magongo finished 15th overall on 234 points.
The men's competition was dominated by teams from Botswana and Angola. Jack and Chiswaniso from Botswana won the men's standings with 852 points, while Carlos and Afonso from Angola were second on 840 points. Krafft and Krafft from Namibia finished third on 696 points. Mlamuli Simelane and Nkosingiphile Dube from Eswatini finished 40th overall on 108 points.
The conclusion of the Maputo leg brought the fifth edition of the CAVB Zone VI Beach Volleyball Tour to an end. The CAVB Zone VI encouraged national federations to apply to host legs of the sixth edition, with details of the application process to be announced. This will provide an opportunity for countries to host and participate in the tour.
