The government of Equatorial Guinea is analyzing new territorial planning and infrastructure projects for the continental region. A working session was held on October 28 at the State Headquarters in Malabo, led by Vice President Nguema Obiang Mangue and members of a multisectoral commission. The meeting focused on the status and proposed implementation of various public works projects in the region.

One of the main issues discussed was the distribution of plots in Djibloho province, presented by the Ministry of Public Works through the Land Planning Department. The proposal involves allocating land for companies, embassies, and economic centers, with areas classified for banking, commercial, and business activities. The goal is to develop a financial center in Ciudad de La Paz.

The proposal is still under study and may undergo modifications regarding its location and distribution. During the review, it was noted that the presented map did not provide a sufficient scale to appreciate the project details. To address this issue, it was proposed to use a specialized company in three-dimensional printing to obtain a more accurate representation of the territorial planning project.

The distribution of plots should respond to modernity and urban planning criteria, considering existing buildings in the area. The agenda also included economic proposals from three companies participating in the bidding process for constructing the Constitutional Court headquarters in Ciudad de La Paz. The government agreed to request the companies' execution projects to examine and determine which one meets the established requirements.

The meeting also examined the plan for asphalting neighborhood roads and secondary streets in Bata city. A technical and economic study is recommended to determine the project's scope and necessary resources. Additionally, the rehabilitation of the section located at kilometer 10, near the San José Obrero center, was discussed to improve circulation conditions and facilitate the displacement of schoolchildren.

The problems of erosion recorded in Río Campo were also analyzed, and a special commission was approved to inspect the damage and prepare the corresponding budgets for recovery work. These actions are part of the issues the government is monitoring in terms of territorial planning, urban development, and infrastructure improvement in the continental region.

The government's efforts aim to enhance the region's development and address existing challenges. The projects under review will contribute to the country's growth and provide better living conditions for its citizens. The implementation of these initiatives will be closely monitored by the government.
