Lucas Escalada, a renowned designer from Equatorial Guinea, has arrived in Paris to showcase his latest collection, "REVIVIR — Un mundo sin VIH" (REVIVE — A world without HIV). The collection, which combines high fashion, identity, and social commitment, will be presented at the Pavillon Gravelle on Friday, 25. This initiative aims to raise awareness about HIV, stigma, and discrimination, while promoting hope and dignity.

The "REVIVIR" collection features mainly female looks with architectural silhouettes, corsetry, volumes, and three-dimensional elements. The color palette, including red, gold, green, black, white, and pink, evokes life, strength, renewal, and hope. This collection is a continuation of Escalada's previous work, "Nacer y Renacer," with a new look for men also included in the Parisian showcase. The designs reflect Escalada's African roots and his passion for high fashion.

Lucas Escalada sees himself as a global designer capable of connecting cultures. He emphasizes that his presence in Paris is not just about presenting clothes but also about sharing a story, identity, and message. The message is one of hope for a world without HIV, stigma, and discrimination. Escalada's work is supported by several institutions and brands, including the Ministry of Information, Prensa, Culture, and Tourism of Equatorial Guinea, Air France, and the French Cultural Center.

Escalada is accompanied by model Miguel Ángel Mba Mbe Engonga and Geraldo Nchaso Riloha, a young designer and current candidate in the Young Designers Contest at the International Fashion and Art Festival of Equatorial Guinea. Riloha is also a winner of the Fashion Challenge of the 90th Anniversary of Air France, developed in collaboration with the French Cultural Center. This support highlights the emerging talent in Equatorial Guinea's fashion industry.

The event has the institutional backing of several organizations, including the Ministry of Information, Prensa, Culture, and Tourism, as well as the sponsorship and collaboration of Air France, the French Cultural Center, BANGE, and PEGASOS. These entities specifically support Escalada's participation and that of his delegation in FIMO228 Édition France 2026. The designer has expressed gratitude to all the supporters and collaborators who made this participation possible.

With "REVIVIR," Lucas Escalada brings a contemporary vision of Equatorial Guinea's creativity to Paris, along with a conviction that fashion can also raise awareness, unite cultures, and transmit hope. The collection and the event aim to demonstrate the potential of fashion as a tool for social change and cultural exchange. Escalada's work is a testament to the power of fashion to inspire and educate.

The presentation of "REVIVIR" at the Pavillon Gravelle is a significant moment for Escalada and his team, who have worked tirelessly to prepare the collection.
