She also alleged that police beat her during the arrest, prompting the prosecution to order a medical examination to verify her claims.
The prosecution heard testimony from the mother of Dina'a's husband, who claimed that her son's wife was subjected to severe violence during the arrest. The investigations revealed that Dina'a's husband confessed to trafficking narcotics and storing more at their home, where police found quantities of "آيس" (ice) and hashish, along with cash and a white weapon.
According to the Internal Affairs investigations, Dina'a's actions were a transparent attempt to undermine the legality of her husband's arrest and detention. Her videos sparked widespread attention, prompting authorities to take legal action against her for spreading false news.
The case file, obtained by Al-Masry Al-Youm, included a detailed account of the arrest by Detective Ahmed Moukhtar, who stated that they had received tips about a suspect, يوسف السوري (Youssef Al-Souri), selling narcotics in the International Park. Upon arrest, police found hashish and ice, as well as a large sum of money and a white weapon.
