The Egyptian Stock Exchange announced the resumption of trading on Robex Global shares, effective 12:15 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. This decision came after the Financial Supervisory Authority stated that it had no objection to publishing the company's capital increase disclosure report. The report was prepared in accordance with the provisions of Article 48 of the Egyptian Stock Exchange listing rules.
According to the disclosure report, Robex Global's board of directors approved a capital increase from 153.799 million EGP to 278.799 million EGP, an increase of 125 million EGP. The increase involves issuing 50 million shares with a nominal value of 2.50 EGP per share, in addition to legally stipulated issuance expenses. The capital increase will be financed through a combination of in-kind and cash contributions.
The in-kind contribution, valued at 90 million EGP, will be used to settle outstanding debts owed to the company's major shareholder, Remtem for Development and Urban Planning, which currently holds a 71.546799% stake in Robex Global. Following the capital increase, Remtem's shareholding is expected to be approximately 89.433 million EGP. Additionally, a cash contribution of 35 million EGP will be raised through a subscription by existing shareholders.
The company stated that the cash contribution of 35 million EGP will be allocated to financing expansion and operational projects, as outlined in a feasibility study conducted by OIB. The study's financial indicators suggest that the project will generate net profits of around 8.75 million EGP in the first year, increasing to approximately 14.5 million EGP by the third year.
Robex Global's board of directors also approved measures to update and develop the company's transportation fleet and pay for the creation of a firefighting network at its factories. The board authorized management to complete the necessary legal and regulatory procedures to implement the capital increase and amend the company's articles of association.
The capital increase will be presented to the company's extraordinary general assembly after completing the necessary legal procedures and obtaining the required approvals. With the resumption of trading on its shares, Robex Global is expected to enhance its market presence and pursue growth opportunities.
