Egypt's Deputy Head of Urban Communities Authority, Eng. Ammar Mandour, recently met with companies implementing several housing projects in Badr city to review the project's progress and implementation rates. The meeting was attended by Eng. Sayed Amin, head of Badr city development agency, and his deputies. They discussed the current state of projects, their timelines, and challenges hindering progress.

During the meeting, Eng. Mandour and the companies reviewed the project's implementation rates and timelines, discussing obstacles and emphasizing the need to accelerate progress and adhere to schedules and quality standards. After the meeting, Eng. Mandour conducted a field tour, inspecting the "Dyarna" project in eastern Badr and the fourth phase of the "Housing for Workers Relocated to the New Capital" project.

The field tour aimed to assess the project's progress and monitor ongoing work. Eng. Sayed Amin stressed the importance of continuous on-site monitoring and coordination with executing companies to address any obstacles, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications and timelines. This effort supports the development of a comprehensive urban community.

Another inspection was conducted by Eng. Ahmed Ali, Deputy Head of Urban Communities Authority for Utilities, and Eng. Hitham Hamad, assistant to the Deputy Head, along with Eng. Atef El-Shahat, Deputy Head of the Badr city development agency. They reviewed the progress of road and utility works in the "Taybeh" area of New Cairo's western extension.

The inspection revealed that work on roads and utilities had begun, following the resolution of previous obstacles that had delayed the start of infrastructure work. This development paves the way for the actual commencement of road construction, drinking water and sewage networks, and electrical power supply networks in the area.

The "Taybeh" area is set to become a comprehensive urban community on approximately 1000 acres, strategically located near the Suez Road and Cairo Ring Road. This location is expected to boost urban development in New Cairo's western extension, providing better living conditions and infrastructure for residents.

These inspections and meetings reflect the Egyptian government's efforts to accelerate housing and infrastructure projects in new cities, aiming to provide better living conditions and services for citizens. The projects are part of a broader strategy to enhance urban development and address housing needs in Egypt.
