In the new city of Asyut, El-Menashy monitored the implementation of a project to complete the paving, landscaping, and greenery in the northwestern entrance of the city. This project aims to improve the city's infrastructure and enhance its aesthetic appeal. The entrance is a vital axis that connects several important areas, including the university, technology zone, and the 1304-acre area.
El-Menashy's visit also included a review of the situation in the new city of Minya, where she met with citizens and listened to their concerns and demands. The minister directed officials to promptly address these issues and provide necessary services to residents. She also received a report on the outcomes of recent visits by officials from the New Urban Communities Authority to cities in Upper Egypt.
The report highlighted a visit by Engineer Ammar Mandour, deputy head of the New Urban Communities Authority, to the new city of Akhmim. During this visit, Mandour and his team inspected several housing and service projects, including those under the "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative. The team also reviewed the progress of various services, including policing, firefighting, and ambulance services.
In the new city of Nasser (west of Asyut), El-Menashy was briefed on the planning and urban development situation. Officials presented a report on the city's development, including areas that have been replanned and those still awaiting planning. The minister also inspected several sites, including areas designated for "Housing for Egyptians" and "Housing for All Egyptians" projects.
The minister concluded her visits by emphasizing the need for continued monitoring of projects, increased implementation rates, and adherence to quality standards and timelines. She also stressed the importance of prioritizing citizen services, listening to their concerns, and addressing them promptly.
