Egyptian Minister of Housing, Randa El-Menashy, has been closely monitoring the implementation status of various projects and work files in several new cities across Upper Egypt. Officials from the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) have been conducting tours in various Upper Egyptian cities to monitor project progress. These tours have included inspections of housing, service, and development projects. For instance, in Akhmim, they visited completed residential units under the "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative and assessed the readiness of various service buildings, including police stations, fire stations, and healthcare facilities.
The NUCA officials also visited Naser City in western Asyut, where they reviewed the city's planning and development status. They discussed proposals for developing residential and service areas, as well as investment opportunities. The goal is to enhance the city's attractiveness to residents and investors while ensuring sustainable development.
El-Menashy concluded her review by stressing the importance of continued site visits, accelerated project implementation, and adherence to quality standards and timelines.
