The Investor Services Center in Gamasa has been instrumental in establishing around 1,524 companies in 2025. It provides services to approximately 12,500 companies across Damietta, Dakahlia, and Kafr El Sheikh governorates. The center offers various services, including company registration, licensing, and technical and legal support required by investors during and after the establishment phase.
The center houses representatives from several government agencies and entities involved in investment, such as the Internal Trade Development Authority, the Industrial Development Authority, the Egyptian Tax Authority, the Value-Added Tax Authority, the National Social Insurance Authority, the Egyptian Bar Association, and the Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Farid's visit also included an inspection of the "DNM" textile factory in Damietta.
The "DNM" factory specializes in spinning, weaving, and textile dyeing. The minister's visit was part of his field trip to the governorate as part of the "Egypt Launches Exports" initiative, aimed at monitoring production activities and companies' plans for expansion and increasing exports. He also visited the "Pure Life" factory, which produces micron filters and water desalination plants.
