Another project being implemented is the improvement of sewerage networks in the upper and middle plateaus and the expansion of the main pumping station in El-Maqtam. This project serves the areas of the upper and middle plateaus and the Red Crescent neighborhood, with a capacity of 60,000 cubic meters per day for the main pumping station. The project includes expanding the main pumping station and upgrading the efficiency of connected wastewater lines and networks.
The minister and the head of the Executive Agency for Drinking Water and Wastewater emphasized the need to accelerate the completion of the remaining work and coordinate between the various parties involved in the implementation.
