The meeting reviewed the timelines for 35 ongoing projects across 13 governorates, as well as the progress of national projects such as the Medical City, the Children's City, and the Gustave Roussy Hospital. These projects are part of a broader effort to enhance the country's healthcare infrastructure.
The initiative "Al-Jisr Al-Tibbi" was also discussed, focusing on leveraging digital transformation technologies to improve the efficiency of the health insurance system in border governorates and promote regional cooperation. The minister emphasized the importance of collaboration with global companies in this field.
The minister directed the development of a comprehensive plan to upgrade the accommodation for doctors in all Secretariat hospitals, ensuring it aligns with the caliber of the medical personnel. This move aims to improve working conditions and provide better support for healthcare professionals.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Dr. Sherif Mustafa, Assistant Minister for National Projects, and Dr. Maha Ibrahim, Head of the Specialized Medical Centers' Secretariat.
