The Egyptian government has announced that it will continue to accept applications for the "Housing for All Egyptians 9" initiative, which offers 15,000 housing units for low-income individuals, until October 28, 2026. The initiative also includes units under the "Decent Life" program. Interested applicants can find details on the application process and conditions for terminating rental contracts in the initiative's terms and conditions booklet.

According to the Ministry of Housing and the Social Housing Fund, the rental contract can be terminated without notice or court ruling in several cases. These cases include failure to pay rent on time, provision of incorrect employment data, and exceeding the income limit as verified through government payroll systems or tax records. Other conditions for contract termination include owning a housing unit, submitting more than two appeal requests, failing to pay the insurance premium, and not occupying the rented unit within a month of taking possession.

The conditions for terminating the rental contract also include situations where the tenant's data is found to be incorrect or incomplete. This includes instances where the tenant or their family members own a housing unit, as verified through integrated government databases. In such cases, the contract is considered null and void, and the tenant is required to vacate the premises.

In cases where the rental contract is terminated, the tenant will forfeit their insurance premium, which will be retained by the Social Housing Fund and Real Estate Finance Support. The tenant will also be required to return the housing unit to the authorities. The Ministry of Housing emphasized that tenants will not be entitled to a refund of their insurance premium after the unit is reclaimed.

The "Housing for All Egyptians 9" initiative aims to provide affordable housing options for low-income individuals. To be eligible, applicants must meet specific income and employment criteria. The initiative's terms and conditions booklet outlines the requirements and procedures for applying and maintaining a rental contract.

According to the Ministry of Housing, applicants who have been rejected may submit an appeal. However, submitting more than two appeal requests may result in contract termination. The Ministry emphasized that applicants must provide accurate and complete information to avoid contract termination.

The "Housing for All Egyptians" program, which includes the ninth phase, aims to provide affordable housing options for low-income individuals.
