The Aswan Education Authority recently celebrated the achievements of its students in the Republic competitions for the 2025-2026 academic year. Dr. Rabie Abu Youssef Al-Hawari, Deputy Minister of Education in Aswan, honored a number of students and teachers who won at the event, which was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Qanawi, Deputy Director of the Authority. The ceremony recognized the students' outstanding talents and encouraged them to continue excelling.
The event saw the presence of Hisham Ahmed Mohamed Al-Ladq, General Music Education Supervisor, as well as first supervisors and several teachers and trainers who contributed to training students and preparing them for the competitions. A number of students and teachers were honored, including those who achieved top rankings in various categories such as singing and instrumental performance.
The list of honored students included Geny Essam Hassan, a student at Aziz Ibrahim Preparatory School for Girls, who won first place in the singing category in the Republic competition. Others honored included Aysha Mustafa Mahmoud, a student at Kima Primary School, who won the title of best voice in the primary stage, and Lojain Ahmed Mohamed, a student at Aswan Secondary School for Girls.
The ceremony also recognized schools that participated in the Republic competitions, including Saint Teresa School, which ranked fourth in instrumental performance. Other schools honored included Mohamed Mekkawi Yaqub School for Languages and Baderia Hamad Preparatory School for Girls.
Dr. Rabie Abu Youssef Al-Hawari praised the students' achievements, saying that they are a source of pride for the Education Authority in Aswan. He emphasized that the ceremony aimed to motivate students to continue excelling and encourage their peers to discover their talents and participate in educational and artistic activities.
The Deputy Minister of Education also praised the efforts of teachers, trainers and supervisors who contributed to preparing students for the competitions. He noted that the results achieved by students were a result of cooperation between students, teachers, trainers and supervisors, as well as ongoing support for educational and artistic activities in Aswan schools.
The Aswan Education Authority was presented with a shield from the Ministry of Education, recognizing its victory in the Republic competitions and its students' achievements. The shield was awarded to Dr. Rabie Abu Youssef Al-Hawari, Deputy Minister of Education in Aswan, as a testament to the Authority's and its students' outstanding performance in the competitions.
