However, the team identified gaps that required immediate intervention, including malfunctions of certain equipment such as dental chairs, a centrifuge, and an X-ray developer, as well as the need for additional maintenance, automation, and enhanced adherence to infection control measures.
In response to the identified gaps, Dr. Al-Alfi instructed that prompt training for counseling providers be conducted to address shortages and bolster family counseling services. She emphasized the importance of registering and tracking all female visitors aged 15 to 49 and documenting the results. Additionally, she called for expanded communication with citizens to publicize available services, analyzing complaints, and periodically measuring satisfaction to enhance appointment organization and reduce waiting times.
Dr. Al-Alfi also stressed the need for meticulous follow-up on pregnancy, particularly for women with anemia, ensuring the availability of approved iron doses of at least 30 mg.
