The charity employs a detailed field mechanism to select eligible families, conducting field research and applying transparent criteria in collaboration with Social Solidarity directorates.
The charity's plan for distributing aid in September covered a wide geographic area. In the Fayoum governorate, support was provided to several villages in various centers, including the villages of Al Lahoon and Al Ameria in Fayoum center, and other villages in Snorus, Tamia, and Ibshaway centers. Similarly, in the Luxor governorate, aid was extended to villages in Luxor, Al Bayoudia, and other centers.
The Executive Director emphasized that the charity's approach ensures that financial support reaches the most needy families in rural areas and villages. The selection process involves thorough field research and transparent criteria to guarantee that aid is directed to those who need it most. This method helps in maximizing the impact of the charity's efforts.
Mahmoud Foad also highlighted that the charity is open to participation from donors and citizens who wish to contribute to the "Sponsor a Poor Family" initiative. Individuals can support a family in need with a monthly donation of 800 EGP or contribute a share worth 150 EGP. This inclusive approach allows everyone to participate in alleviating the burden on these families.
In addition to financial support, Al Orman charity also provides comprehensive medical care to patients. This includes covering the costs of critical surgeries, providing prosthetic devices, and supplying monthly medications. The aim is to improve the quality of life for these patients and enable them to regain their ability to work and be productive members of society.
