Employees from government units who meet these criteria can be nominated by their respective authorities, while those not nominated can also apply. Additionally, non-government employees can apply if they are at least 35 years old and have a total of 12 years of experience.
The Cabinet approved draft decrees to include martyrs and injured officers, non-commissioned officers, and civilian employees of the armed forces in the Fund for Honoring Martyrs and Victims of the War and Terrorism. This move aims to provide support and recognition to those who have made sacrifices in the line of duty.
In the realm of infrastructure and preservation, the Cabinet approved the contracting of the Supreme Council of Antiquities to carry out emergency conservation work on the Al-Mutawalli Mosque (Al-Tareen Al-Kabir) in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra, Gharbeya Governorate. This project seeks to protect and restore this historical site.
The Cabinet also greenlit the contracting of Damanhour University to complete the construction of the new building for the Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital. This project is part of Egypt's efforts to enhance its educational and healthcare sectors, particularly in the Nile Delta region.
Furthermore, the Cabinet approved several requests from various governorates regarding land use and management. These include a request from Port Said Governorate to dispose of a 14,756.25 square meter area for the benefit of the East Delta Flour Mills Company, and another from Sharqia Governorate to renew a contract with EgyptAir for the use of their premises in Zagazig.
