In the other sections, Mustafa Basyuni Mustafa won a seat with 2924 votes in the fourth section; Taher Yahya Riyad El-Sheikh won with 2069 votes in the fifth section; and Dr. Sayed Ahmed El-Geneidy Ahmed won with 2889 votes in the sixth section. The new board members were elected to manage the social fund, which provides financial support to Azhar employees.
The general assembly, which concluded at 10 pm, approved the election results by absolute majority, confirming the winners as members of the new board of directors. Dr. Ismail El-Haddad announced the adoption of the election results, marking the end of the electoral process.
