Jordanian actor Mondher Ryahneh has revealed details about his upcoming artistic projects, including a new play titled "Al-Muftish Al-Am" (The General Inspector), which brings him together with Egyptian actor Ahmed Badir. The play is directed by Khaled Jalal and promises to be a unique theatrical experience. Ryahneh emphasized that any artistic work requires maximum energy and passion to deliver a worthy outcome.

Ryahneh highlighted the challenges of working in theater, which he believes differs significantly from television work. He stressed that effort is essential to the success of any artistic experience, regardless of its type. According to Ryahneh, any work that lacks genuine effort from the artist will lack value. He expressed his hope that "Al-Muftish Al-Am" will offer a different experience for audiences.

Ryahneh also discussed his new Iraqi series, "Robb Qarn" (A Quarter Century), which is currently being filmed in Mosul. He noted that filming in Mosul is significant, especially since it has been 40 years since a camera has entered the city to film an artistic work. Ryahneh described Mosul as a city with a rich history and a symbol of peace.

The actor emphasized that his participation in "Robb Qarn" stems from his sense of belonging to those fighting to restore peace. He stated that even though he may not carry a weapon, he carries a message of peace in the face of the damage inflicted on the city. Ryahneh added that filming is taking place in areas that have been damaged, aiming to restore their beauty through image and art.

Ryahneh revealed that the series' filming has been extended, with the number of episodes increasing from 15 to 30. He described the character he plays in "Robb Qarn" as one of the most challenging roles of his career, given the harsh circumstances the character faced. The character spent 25 years in prison, enduring torture and hardship.

The actor noted that the central question posed by the character is how someone who has spent 25 years in prison and torture can re-enter life with a sense of love and peace rather than revenge. Ryahneh expressed his appreciation for the city of Mosul and its people, stating that his participation in filming there was an opportunity to work in a location that deserves to be showcased to Arab audiences.

Ryahneh concluded by expressing his hope that "Robb Qarn" will not be the only work filmed in Mosul after a 40-year absence. He looks forward to the city continuing to feature in artistic works in the future.
