Egypt's Meteorological Authority has released its weather forecast for Friday, predicting a pleasant autumnal climate. The weather is expected to be warm during the day on the northern coast, warm to hot in Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot in southern Upper Egypt. In the city of Beni Suef, the temperature will range from 31 degrees during the day to 19 degrees at night.
Along the northern coast, the city of Alexandria is expected to experience a high of 27 degrees and a low of 19 degrees. The coastal towns of El-Alamein and Matruh will see highs of 27 and 25 degrees, respectively, with lows of 18 and 17 degrees. The temperature in the city of Damanhour will reach 29 degrees during the day and 19 degrees at night.
In the Delta region, the cities of Mansoura and Zagazig will experience highs of 29 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. The temperature in the city of Tanta will range from 28 degrees during the day to 19 degrees at night. In the coastal cities of Damietta and Port Said, the temperature will reach 26 and 28 degrees, respectively, during the day, with lows of 21 and 24 degrees.
In the Sinai Peninsula and the Red Sea coast, the city of Sharm El-Sheikh will experience a high of 32 degrees and a low of 25 degrees. The city of Hurghada will see a high of 33 degrees and a low of 23 degrees, while the city of Marsa Alam will experience a high of 34 degrees and a low of 25 degrees.
In the southern part of the country, the cities of Sohag and Qena will experience highs of 34 and 38 degrees, respectively, with lows of 18 and 21 degrees. The temperature in the city of Aswan will reach 39 degrees during the day and 23 degrees at night. The New Valley and Abu Simbel will see highs of 34 and 38 degrees, respectively, with lows of 17 and 23 degrees.
The Meteorological Authority has also issued a report on the state of the sea. The Mediterranean Sea is expected to be moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and northeasterly winds. The Red Sea will be moderate to rough, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 3 meters and northwesterly to northeasterly winds. The Gulf of Suez will experience moderate to rough seas, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 3 meters and northwesterly winds.
