The rental value will be determined based on the couple's combined income. For example, a family with a monthly income of 16,000 EGP will not pay more than 25% of their income in rent. This means if their income is 16,000 EGP, the maximum rent they will pay is 4,000 EGP, even if the unit's base rent is 5,000 EGP.
The total support a family can receive during the rental period can reach up to 100,000 EGP, depending on the program's rules and the family's income level. The support amount is not based on the unit's price but rather on the family's income. A three-year rental contract will be signed, with the option to renew if the family continues to meet the eligibility criteria and does not exceed the income limits.
