The Supreme Council for Culture has also opened nominations for the Nile Awards for Egyptian and Arab creators, as well as the State Honorary Awards. The council has invited the boards of entities that have the right to nominate candidates for the State Awards to send in their nominees for the Nile Awards and the State Honorary Awards in the fields of arts, literature, and social sciences for 2027.

The Nile Awards for Egyptian creators consist of three awards: one for arts, one for literature, and one for social sciences. Each of these awards is valued at EGP 500,000 and a gold medal. The Nile Award for Arab creators is a single award in any of the fields of arts, literature, or social sciences, also valued at EGP 500,000 and a gold medal.

The State Honorary Awards comprise 10 awards: three for arts, three for literature, and four for social sciences. Each of these awards is valued at EGP 200,000 and a gold medal. The entities responsible for nominating candidates for these awards are specified by a decision of the Supreme Council for Culture.

The Supreme Council for Culture emphasized that nominations for the State Honorary Awards can only be made by entities that engage in cultural and intellectual activities in the fields of arts, literature, and social sciences. Additionally, nominations from private and non-governmental universities are not accepted.
